Trump LIVE: Iran war bombshell as Trump could be 'removed from Presidency'

Top Democrats in the US are raising the prospect of impeaching Donald Trump, and potentially removing him from office in the process.

Among Democrats calling for him to be impeached was Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. She said: “This is a threat of genocide and merits removal from office. The President’s mental faculties are collapsing and cannot be trusted,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) posted on X. “To every individual in the President’s chain of command: You have a duty to refuse illegal orders. That includes carrying out this threat.”

The calls have grown after the President’s threat to kill a “whole civilisation” in Iran prior to the agreement of a ceasefire on Tuesday.

Rep. Frank Pallone responded: “Trump is absolutely unhinged. He’s threatening to wipe out an entire civilization and Republicans in Congress are doing nothing to stop him.”
