Women protest at ongoing funeral of victims of Palm Sunday terrorist attack in Jos (photos)

Women in Angwan Ruba community in Jos, Plateau state have vowed to prevent the mass burial for the victims of the Palm Sunday terrorist attack in their community.

The remains of some of the victims are to be interred today, April 7. The aggrieved women however insist that they will not allow the burial to proceed. According to them, securiy agents visited their community and arrested three of their youths, accusing them of being part of the assailants that carried out the attack. The women deny this claim, arguing that the security agents know those who carried out the attack and should go after them.
