 In a post shared on her handle, the X user, AweniOnibata, said the deceased had repeatedly suffered domestic v!olence in her marriage. She mentioned that whenever the husband be@t her up, the deceased would run back to her parents who would always advise her to go back to her matrimonial home. She stated that the last time the husband be@t his wife, the father of the deceased insisted on the husband coming with his people to beg for forgiveness before asking his daughter to return with him. The victim returned and suffered yet another be@ting that has now claimed her life.

The X-user mentioned that the deceased was the only girl of her family and d!ed with a five months pregnancy.
