Hope Restored: Eze urges Igboeze North/Udenu federal constituents to remain faithful to ADC

The Igboeze North/Udenu House of Representatives Aspirant under the banner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Chimaobi Benjamin Sunday Eze, has lauded the Supreme Court’s decision on the leadership dispute in the party.

In a statement he made available to newsmen on Friday, Eze also used the opportunity to wish Nigerian workers a memorable May Day celebration.

The Supreme Court, in its judgment on Thursday, restored David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as National Chairman and National Secretary of the ADC, respectively, prompting the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to reinstate their names in the commission’s portal without delay.

Eze said that the Supreme Court decision restored hopes of the teaming ADC members in his constituency and in Nigeria at large, adding that justice was done on the party’s internal matter.

He used the opportunity to reach out to his numerous admirers and supporters, to urge them to remain steadfast with the ADC as the emerging national ruling party.

Eze said that he was hopeful that the ADC would triumph over its rival political parties in the 2027 general elections and urged the party members to maintain high spirits.

He told his constituents that he was still very much in the race, seeking the mandate of the people of Igboeze North/Udenu Federal constituency to represent them in the lower chamber of the National Assembly.

Eze recalled having told his constituents that his track record in the public and community services has endeared him for higher jobs, noting that his attraction to the position is his desire for better representation and accountability in public service.

“Change is the ability to act differently. Genuine performance goes with delivery. Leadership is synonymous with accountability which should apply at all levels. These are the hallmarks of my pledge which I must remain committed to,” Eze stressed.
