Man says family should not pay ransom if he’s ever kidn@pped, asks them to record time of ‘death’ instead

A man has sparked reactions online after revealing that he has instructed his wife, siblings and children not to pay ransom if he is ever abducted, saying they should instead record the time of the first call as the “time of his death.”

According to him, he would rather die than be subjected to the inhumane treatment many kidnapped Nigerians reportedly face. He added that kidnappers “will not make one naira” from him, insisting his family should ignore further calls and not engage with anyone.

The man also expressed frustration over insecurity in Nigeria, describing the country as “a shameful place” and lamenting what he called lack of government and growing selfishness among citizens.
