Air Peace Expands Major Flight Network as New Travel Surge Looms Across Nigeria

Air Peace has unveiled a major expansion of its domestic operations, ramping up flight frequencies and seat capacity across several high-demand routes as part of its Summer/Winter 2026 schedule.

The revised schedule takes effect from June 22, 2026, and is designed to enhance connectivity, provide greater travel flexibility, and meet growing passenger demand across the country.

Under the new arrangement, the airline will operate up to seven daily flights between Lagos and Abuja, further strengthening one of Nigeria’s busiest air corridors.

Other routes set to benefit from increased frequencies include Lagos–Owerri, with up to four daily flights, and Lagos–Asaba, with up to three daily flights, while Lagos–Benin, Lagos–Warri, and Lagos–Enugu will each see up to two daily flights.

The carrier will also boost services on the Abuja–Owerri and Abuja–Asaba routes, offering up to two daily flights on both sectors.

According to the airline, the expanded operations will be powered by its fleet of next-generation aircraft, allowing it to increase seat availability while sustaining operational efficiency, comfort, and reliability.

In a statement, Air Peace explained that the move was aimed at offering more convenient schedules and affordable travel options for both business and leisure travellers, noting that the strategic increase in capacity and frequency on key domestic routes was a direct response to rising travel demand during the summer season.

The airline added that the additional flights would give passengers greater flexibility, improved options, and more convenient scheduling, all at competitive fares.

It further noted that the boosted frequencies would deepen connectivity among major commercial and regional hubs, thereby supporting economic growth, trade, tourism, and national integration.

The expansion, according to the carrier, is part of a broader strategy to improve network accessibility, strengthen schedule reliability, and widen travel options for passengers, while upholding high safety and service standards.

Air Peace urged travellers to take advantage of the increased seat availability by booking through its website, mobile application, contact centre, or accredited travel agencies.
