Nigerian social media influencer David Obadiah Adedolapo, popularly known as Baddy of Lagos, successfully underwent surgery on his left leg on June 16, 2026, at Saudi German Hospital in Cairo, aimed at correcting Blount’s disease, a condition that earlier childhood procedures had failed to fully resolve.

The procedure was made possible after the online community rallied behind him once again, raising over ₦19 million in a fresh fundraising drive spearheaded by Sir Dickson.

This followed a similar campaign last year that financed the surgery on his right leg, an effort that drew support from notable figures including Afrobeats star Davido.

Baddy is currently in post-operative recovery, with his mother by his side as he prepares for several months of rehabilitation ahead.

He has expressed deep appreciation to those who supported him, while well-wishers online have continued to celebrate the progress made toward giving him straighter legs.
