Kennedy Agyapong’s departure could spell trouble for NPP-Prophet Warns

A Kumasi-based Prophet identified as Sarpong has warned that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) could face a major defeat in the 2028 general elections if former presidential aspirant Kennedy Agyapong leaves the party.

Speaking on Angel FM in Kumasi, the prophet claimed he received a vision showing that Kennedy Agyapong’s exit could weaken the NPP’s chances in the next election.

“If they allow Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to leave the party, the NPP will lose bitterly in the 2028 elections,” he claimed.

According to Prophet Sarpong, he saw the rise of a third political force that may not necessarily aim to win power but could influence the outcome of the election.

“I have had a vision where there was a third-force party whose intent is to disrupt the elections rather than win them, and it will be very dangerous for the NPP if they allow Hon. Ken to leave the party,” he stated.

He further predicted that the 2028 presidential election could follow the pattern of the 2000 elections, which went into a run-off.

“The 2028 elections will be like the 2000 elections, where there was a run-off, and if that happens, the NPP will lose,” he said.

The prophet urged the NPP leadership to carefully manage internal issues and avoid decisions that could affect the party’s chances in the next general elections.
