NDC imposing candidates – Senatorial aspirant cries out 

A senatorial aspirant under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinwa, has accused the national leader of the party, Seriake Dickson, of imposing candidates.

Agbonayinwa made this allegation on Friday during an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television.

According to the aggrieved aspirant, he won the senatorial ticket but Dickson is planning to give it to another person.

“Dickson is imposing candidates in the NDC. Look at what Aisha Yesufu did at the NDC national secretariat.

“NDC did primaries on May 29th. Today is June 5th, and the party has not announced the results.

“Dickson disappointed me totally. He told me to get the NDC Senate ticket, and I won the primary.

“The same Dickson is now saying the party will do affirmation for one Ijaw lady instead of going with the primary election result,” he lamented.
