Super Parents host over 80 to Inclusive Children’s Party

The Super Parents Foundation successfully hosted the ninth Inclusive Children’s Party on May 31, 2026, bringing together over 80 children with and without disabilities for a day filled with fun, therapy, empowerment, and inclusion.

The event commenced with therapy sessions specially organised for children with disabilities, alongside various inclusive games and recreational activities that encouraged interaction, friendship, and social inclusion among all participating children. 

The atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and joy as the children actively participated in the day’s activities.

The programme was graced by several distinguished guests and dignitaries. 

The Chairman and Chairperson of Ojodu Local Council Development Area was represented by Hon. Adams Afolake Olubunmi and Alhaja Kemi Leshin; the Convener of Concert for Change, Pastor Wale Adenuga, was represented by Funmilayo Ayoola; while the General Manager of LASODA was represented by M. Kelani. 

Their presence further demonstrated their commitment to supporting children with disabilities and promoting an inclusive society.

A major highlight of the event was the presentation of assistive devices and medical support to children and persons living with disabilities. 

A total of 13 children benefited from Cerebral Palsy wheelchairs, while 15 children received Standing Frames and CP Chairs, comprising 13 beneficiaries from Lagos and two beneficiaries from the Kaduna branch. 

Additionally, 16 beneficiaries received AFOs and Backslabs, with 15 beneficiaries from Lagos and one beneficiary from the Ibadan chapter. 

Furthermore, 10 beneficiaries received anti-seizure medications to support their health and well-being.

The presentation of the assistive devices was led by Ayoola, representing Concert for Change, alongside other dignitaries present at the event. 

The beneficiaries and their families expressed immense gratitude for the support, which will significantly improve the quality of life and mobility of the recipients.

In her remarks, a lawyer and the Founder of the Super Parents Foundation, Mofoluwasho Liasu, expressed profound appreciation to all donors, sponsors, and partners whose generous support made the event possible, with special recognition given to Concert for Change for their unwavering commitment to children with disabilities.

Liasu also encouraged parents and caregivers to make effective use of the assistive devices provided free of charge for the benefit and development of their children.

Hon. Adams, representing the Chairperson of Ojodu LCDA, conveyed the warm greetings of the chairperson and reaffirmed the council’s support for initiatives that promote inclusion and improve the lives of persons with disabilities. 

She also presented gifts sent by the Chairperson to the Foundation during the event.

The 9th Inclusive Children’s Party once again demonstrated the Super Parents Foundation’s commitment to creating an inclusive society where every child, regardless of ability, is valued, celebrated, and supported to reach their full potential.
