Trump breaks silence on calling Netanyahu 'f*****g crazy' – 'I'm a wartime president'

Donald Trump has confirmed he called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “f*****g crazy” in a furious phone call on Monday, but insisted they have “worked very well together.” The US President told the New York Post’s ‘Pod Force One’ in an interview with Miranda Devine: “I was a little bit perturbed at his constantly fighting with Lebanon.”

The attacks over recent days have risked the collapse of US-Iran peace talks, with Tehran warning the Israeli targeting of Hezbollah must end before an agreement over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz can be reached, and then the dismantling of Iran’s nuclear programme.
