Children are better off coming from broken homes than staying in unhappy ones – Kenyan woman says as she shares happy photo of her sons with her new partner

A Kenyan woman, Terry Muchiri, has said that children are better off coming from broken homes than remaining in unhappy ones.
.....
The mother of two stated this in a Facebook post on Thursday, July 2, 2026 accompanied by a happy photo of her two sons with her new partner.
According to Terry, her sons expressed joy over her new relationship, saying she will have someone to look out for her when they grow up and leave home.
She maintained that staying in a bad marriage for the sake of children does more harm than good.
“Anybody that thinks staying in a bad marriage coz of kids kujeni mkutano. These are my sons. They told me another day that they are happy I found a person that loves me well,” she wrote.
