Officials reported that there were no signs of assault on the body.Investigators said a video recorded by a village employee allegedly showed Murphy experiencing what witnesses described as a psychotic episode before running toward the lake and entering the water. He reportedly swam into deeper sections of the lake before becoming exhausted. Forensic doctors later noted injuries consistent with rolling on the ground rather than physical assault.Police also searched the property where Murphy had been staying. Investigators reportedly found two unused syringes inside his vehicle along with unidentified white pills in a waist bag.
