Dollar to Naira Exchange Rate Today, July 15, 2026: Nigerian Naira records first appreciation

The Naira appreciated on Wednesday against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market for the first time this week.
The Central Bank of Nigeria’s data showed that the Naira strengthened to N1,382.18 per dollar on Wednesday, up from N1,383.08 exchanged on Tuesday.
This means that on a day-to-day basis, the Nigerian Naira gained N0.89 against the dollar.
The DAILY POST reports that this is the first gain against the dollar this week.
Meanwhile, at the black market, the Naira remained flat at N1430 per dollar, the same rate traded on Tuesday.
The development comes as the country’s external reserves rose further to $51.87 billion as of 14th July 2026.
Recall that in the past two days, the Naira had recorded depreciation against the dollar.
