FIFA investigating alleged racist abuse of popular streamer IShowSpeed

FIFA has launched an investigation into an alleged racial abuse incident involving popular streamer IShowSpeed during the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 match between Argentina and Cape Verde.

The incident reportedly occurred on July 3 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where the 21-year-old streamer was attending the match and livestreaming for his millions of followers.

According to reports, FIFA became aware of the alleged abuse after the incident was captured during IShowSpeed’s livestream. The governing body said it was reviewing the matter and reiterated its commitment to tackling discrimination. “The FIFA World Cup is a celebration of unity, diversity and respect,” FIFA said in a statement.
