For those asking me to speak up, I won’t because of my kids – Actress Uche Ogbodo’s estranged husband, BobbyMaris, says amidst their marital crisis

Bobby Maris, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo, has  broken his silence regarding their troubled marriage.

 In a video shared today, Maris acknowledged the overwhelming wave of direct messages flooding his social media platforms since public reports of their marital issues emerged two weeks ago. 

While thanking fans for their prayers and solidarity, he explicitly stated that he will not reveal his side of the story online. According to Maris, the decision to remain silent is solely to shield their children from the ongoing public scrutiny.

‘’Thank you so much to everyone who has been reaching out to me, those who called me personally…I really appreciate. Then to those in my Dm asking me to ‘speak up, speak up’….No, I wouldn’t do that because of the kids. Thank you so much and God bless you all”

The couple, who tied the knot in January 2023, share two children together. Uche also has a daughter from a previous marriage.
