Man accused of motorcycle theft be@ten and bvrnt to d3ath by mob after escaping from hospital bed in Jigawa

A man accused of being a motorcycle thief was burnt to d3ath by irate youths at the main gate of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State.

According to eyewitness, the incident occurred after the suspect, who was receiving treatment at the hospital’s emergency unit, attempted to escape. 

A video that went viral on social media showed the suspect, dressed in a white shirt and stained with bl00d, being dragged to the hospital gate by youths before he was k!lled.

An eyewitness claimed that two men were caught on the premises of FMC Birnin Kudu on Monday, July 27, 2026 while allegedly attempting to steal motorcycles. 

One managed to escape while the other was apprehended and beaten mercilessly by youths.The suspect was later taken to the emergency unit of the hospital for treatment. He reportedly escaped from the ward but was intercepted by youths who had been alerted.
