NBA Presidency: Sanwo-Olu congratulates Badejo-Okusanya 

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya (SAN) on her emergence as the president of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Sanwo-Olu, who described Badejo-Okusanya’s emergence as historic, said this in a message released on his X handle on Monday.

He tweeted: “Congratulations to Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, on her historic election as the President of the Nigerian Bar Association.

“Becoming only the second female president in the history of the NBA is no small feat and is a well-deserved milestone. 

“Over the years, she has built a reputation for excellence, legal precision and an unwavering commitment to the rule of law. 

“Her rise to the leadership of the bar reflects decades of hard work and relentless dedication to justice.

“Her victory is a proud moment for the legal profession and a strong inspiration for young women across Lagos and Nigeria who aspire to lead at the highest levels.

“I have full confidence that her tenure will bring visionary leadership and advance the cause of justice in our society. 

“On behalf of the government and people of Lagos State, I wish her a successful and impactful term in office.”
