Popular streamer Kai Cenat sued by man claiming he suffered near heatstroke at Streamer University event

Popular American streamer Kai Cenat is facing a lawsuit from a man who alleges he nearly suffered heatstroke twice during Cenat’s Streamer University event held in Manhattan last month.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the plaintiff, Caleb Gottfried, also known as SNRVK, claims unsafe conditions at the event exposed attendees to excessive heat, causing him to experience two separate near-heatstroke incidents. He further alleges that New York Police Department officers witnessed the medical emergencies. Gottfried accuses the organisers of failing to implement adequate crowd control measures and provide proper ventilation and other standard safety precautions during the event.

The lawsuit also alleges that Cenat’s company used Gottfried’s image in promotional material for Streamer University without his consent. He claims he appeared as “background talent” in a commercial advertising the event but was never asked to sign a release form or waiver authorising the use of his likeness. Gottfried is seeking more than $330,000 in damages, citing alleged negligence and the unauthorised commercial use of his image.

The legal action comes as Cenat is also facing a separate lawsuit from another individual who alleges he was assaulted by a member of the streamer’s security team during the same event. Neither Cenat nor his representatives had publicly responded to the allegations at the time of reporting.
