ASSW, Students Chamber of Commerce Lead Students to Career Fair 2026

The Association for Students’ Social Welfare (ASSW) Network and the Students Chamber of Commerce (SCC) have successfully led a large delegation of students to Career Fair 2026, reinforcing their commitment to connecting academic learning with career opportunities and industry exposure.
The initiative, led by the Founder of the Students Chamber of Commerce, Amb. Victor Adetolaju, MITPN, took place at the National Women Development Centre in Abuja in collaboration with the SLC Education and Career Connect Group.
The event brought together students, employers, professionals, government representatives and industry stakeholders to provide practical insights into career development, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.
Students Gain Career Insights
Participants attended sessions focused on career development, entrepreneurship, leadership, public service, remote work opportunities and employability skills.
Industry experts and professionals shared practical knowledge on navigating today’s evolving labour market, helping students prepare for life after graduation.
Networking and Employment Opportunities
Beyond the training sessions, the career fair provided students with opportunities to interact directly with recruiters, company representatives, mentors and other professionals.
The engagement enabled participants to expand their professional networks, explore internship opportunities and gain valuable career guidance.
SCC Reaffirms Commitment to Student Development
Speaking at the event, the Founder of the Students Chamber of Commerce, Amb. Victor Adetolaju, stressed the importance of exposing students to practical opportunities beyond the classroom.
He said initiatives such as Career Fair 2026 are designed to equip students with the skills, networks and experiences needed to compete successfully in today’s global economy.
According to him, the programme forms part of the organisation’s broader vision of transforming students into economically productive individuals through strategic partnerships and career-focused initiatives.
Driving Youth Empowerment
The successful participation of students at the Career Fair underscores the growing role of the ASSW Network and the Students Chamber of Commerce in promoting youth empowerment, employability and economic development in Nigeria.
Both organisations expressed appreciation to their partners, facilitators and stakeholders for supporting the event and reaffirmed their commitment to creating more platforms that connect students with career and business opportunities across tertiary institutions.
