Nigerian lady seeks public help in finding her mother’s three children taken away from her many years ago by their Cameroonian father (video)
A Nigerian woman, Lister Mathew Osas, has made a passionate public appeal to help her traumatised mother locate her three children who were allegedly abducted by their Cameroonian father in Kaduna over three decades ago.
.....
In an emotionally charged video, Osas revealed that her mother, a native of Cross River State, has spent the last 30 years living in agony, refusing to leave Kaduna State in the hopes that her children will one day return.
The incident dates back to the 1990s, when Osas’s mother was married to her first husband, a Cameroonian man residing in Kaduna. According to Lister, one afternoon, the mother, then a hospital clerk, returned home from work to find her husband and three young children gone. After frantic inquiries, she tracked them to a temporary location in the city. However, after briefly stepping away to gather some items, she returned to find that the man had completely vanished, fleeing with the children to Cameroon.
Lister said at the time of the alleged abduction, the eldest child, a girl, was six years old, the second was four, and the youngest was just two or three. Since that day, the mother has heard nothing. Despite the passage of time, she refuses to relocate from Kaduna, remaining emotionally tied to the state where her family was torn apart. The family is now urging anyone with information about the missing children, who would now be in their 30s, to come forward.
She gave the name of the father of the three children as Alfred Dibong Mandeng, while the names of the children are Antonia Dibong Mandeng, Maxwell Dibong Mandeng and Victoria Dibong Mandeng.
