2027: Barau urges ex-lawmakers to again Tinubu, insists on energy rotation

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Jibrin Barau, has urged former lawmakers to help the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 to allow him totally implement his reform agenda.

Barau made the decision on Saturday on the 2026 Nationwide Summit of Former Legislators, themed “Nationwide Unity and Nation Constructing: Past 2031,” held in Abuja.

The summit was organised by the Nationwide Discussion board of Former Legislators, with the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, as convener.

An announcement launched in Abuja by Barau’s Particular Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, disclosed that the occasion was attended by former Senate Presidents Pius Anyim and Ken Nnamani, former Audio system of the Home of Representatives Patricia Eteh and Yakubu Dogara, amongst others.
