2027: Gbenga Daniel picks senatorial form

The representative of Ogun East Senatorial District, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has picked the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 elections.
Daniel picked the form less than two weeks after some stakeholders endorsed Governor Dapo Abiodun as their consensus candidate.
But Daniel, a former two-term governor of Ogun State, announced the purchase of the forms on Tuesday.
He made the announcement through his X handle.
He said: “Today, I picked up my nomination and expression of interest forms as I seek to return to the Nigerian Senate, continuing my efforts to provide effective and responsive representation for the people of Ogun East Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.”
