On Wednesday, Arsenal made history by drawing 1-1 with Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Viktor Gyokeres and Julian Alvarez scored goals for their respective sides during the match, which took place in the Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain.

Arsenal has now tied the record for the greatest unbeaten streak in the European Cup/UEFA Champions League, going 13 games without a loss for the second time, according to OptaJoe. The first time came in March 2005 and April 2006.

This weekend, Arsenal will turn their focus to the Premier League when they host Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s team will play Atletico Madrid at home in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final following the Fulham match.
