Ex-Super Eagles Star Michael Eneramo Dies On Kaduna Pitch After Collapse

Former Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo has died after collapsing during a football match in Kaduna State.
This according to reports by SCORENigeria.
The 40-year-old slumped while playing at the Angwan Yelwa pitch in the Television area of Kaduna on Friday. He had come on as a substitute in the second half and collapsed without any contact from another player.
Efforts to revive him on the spot were unsuccessful. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Eneramo, who retired from professional football, played for clubs including Besiktas in Turkey, Esperance in Tunisia, and Nigeria’s Lobi Stars. Until his death, he was running a football academy.
The Super Eagles’ official X account mourned the former striker on Friday, posting his picture with the caption, “Rest in peace Michael.”
