Gadimoh Marks Return with Goal Despite Green Atlas Defeat in NLO Opener

David Sunday Gadimoh announced his return in style, scoring on his debut appearance for Green Atlas Football Club in their opening match of the 2026 Nigeria Nationwide League One season.

The encounter, played at the Nasara Stadium in Zaria, saw Green Atlas fall to a 3–1 defeat against Future of Africa FC. However, Gadimoh’s late introduction turned heads, as he pulled one back for his side with a composed finish.

Coming on with just 10 minutes left, the forward injected energy and attacking intent into the Green Atlas lineup. His sharp movement and composure in the box troubled the opposition, quickly endearing him to the fans who cheered his every touch.

Gadimoh brings a wealth of experience, having previously featured for Giwa FC, Heartland FC, Al-Hidd Club, Al-Sahel SC, and Mohammedan SC across different stages of his career.

The striker, who is also the brother of Sunday Rotimi, expressed optimism after the match, promising fans more goals as the season progresses.

Green Atlas will look to bounce back when they face Fulfill FC on May 3, 2026, at the same Nasara Stadium in Zaria.
