Gov. Buni appoints Dr Goje as Acting Yobe SSG

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of Dr. Mohammed Goje as the Acting Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Director-General of Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Mamman Mohammed.
Until his appointment, Dr. Goje served as the Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA.
Governor Buni charged the new acting SSG to remain committed to the service of the state and work towards improving the welfare of the people.
The governor expressed confidence in Goje’s capacity to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the office and contribute to the administration’s development agenda.
“His Excellency urged the new appointee to rededicate his efforts in the service of the state and the betterment of the people,” the statement said.
Mr Goje’s appointment is expected to strengthen the coordination of government activities and support the implementation of policies and programmes of the Buni administration.
