Greece: Gunman opens fire at social security office and courthouse; police hunt 89-year-old suspect

Several people in Greece were wounded after a shooter opened fire at a social security office and at a courthouse on Tuesday.Police have launched operations to locate the suspect, believed to be an 89-year old man, according to the reported from Associated Press. Authorities said the man, armed with a shotgun, first opened fire inside a social security office in central Athens, injuring an employee.Then they added that the same suspect later opened fire on the ground floor of a court building in the city, leaving several people wounded. The motive behind the attacks remains unclear. Local broadcaster ERT reported that after the courthouse shooting, the gunman threw envelopes containing documents onto the floor, claiming they could explain the reasons for his actions.
