Cross River-based  All Progressives Congress, APC, support group, `Prince Is Coming Organisation’, says it will hold 1.5 million-man march in support of President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Bassey Otu re-election bid.

Leader of the group and Chief of Staff to the governor of Cross River, Mr Emmanuel Ironbar, made the disclosure at a news conference in Calabar on Thursday.

According to him, the march will take place in Ikom, Central Senatorial District of the state on Saturday.

Ironbar said that it became imperative to support the re-election of President Tinubu because of the impactful federal projects the state had benefited from in the current administration.

He mentioned the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, Bakassi Deep Seaport Project and the Special Agriculture Processing Zone Project.

He also commended Gov. Otu for employing more than 3,000 workers into the civil service, constructing hundreds of kilometers of roads and improvement in all sectors of the state’s economy.

Ironbar added that Tinubu and Otu deserved second term to consolidate on their achievements, adding, “Cross River is poised to make a major statement with its votes come 2027 general elections”.

He said that the Prince is Coming Organisation was born out of pains and sacrifices the governor’s supporters went through following the outcome of 2015 elections.

Also speaking, Mr Ekpenyong Akiba, the Special Adviser on General Duties to the governor, said that 1.5 million people would openly endorse the president and governor for what they had achieved.

Akiba, who is also the chairman, media and publicity for the rally announced that the event will be used to receive defectors who are impressed with the achievements of the President Tinubu and Gov. Otu.
