Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has visited former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, at his residence in Abuja for what has been described as a strategic meeting.
The meeting, which took place on Wednesday, was confirmed in a brief statement noting that Atiku had just concluded discussions with Amaechi.
âH.E. Atiku Abubakar has just concluded a strategic meeting with former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi,â the statement read.
Although details of the meeting were not disclosed, both politicians are prominent figures in Nigeriaâs opposition party.
