JUST IN: Edo politician buys N100 million APC presidential nomination form to challenge Tinubu

A trader, Osifo Stanley, has purchased the N100 million presidential nomination and expression of interest forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the party’s ticket.

Stanley, who hails from Edo State, is seeking to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the APC presidential primaries.

The aspirant completed the purchase of the forms today at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja ahead of the party’s primary election.

Stanley is one of the early entrants into the race, positioning himself against an incumbent president expected to seek re-election.

President Tinubu, who assumed office in 2023, is widely expected to seek a second term under the APC platform, though he has yet to formally declare his intention.
