Osun 2026 – Hunters Group Seeks Adeleke’s Collaboration In Tackling Insecurity

Before, during and after the August 15 Governorship election in Osun State, the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service ,NHFSS, Chairman in the State, Alhaji Ahmed Nureni yesterday actively seeking Governor Ademola Adeleke’s led administration support in combating insecurity and any criminal activities.

Nureni who prayed for peaceful election come August 15th, made this known while featuring on “The Dialogue” current affairs programme of the Impact Digital Television, Osogbo, Osun State, said increased government support will contribute to reduction of crimes in Osun.

The Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service ,NHFSS, Chairman in Osun assured Governor Adeleke of their readiness to intensify efforts in curbing criminal activities in the entire Osun State.

Nureni who condemned any political crisis ahead of Governorship poll in the state said his men are ready to demonstrate their unalloyed support to the incumbent administration in averting any plan leading to mayhem.


Nureni who emphasised that with the state government support to their organization, criminals planning to come to Osun from neighbouring states will be restricted completely.

He said, “If there is government support and motivation, we are also ready to work with Governor Adeleke’s administration in tackling hoodlums.

As a group saddled with the security of the forest, we are ready to work together with the current government in Osun, we are fully ready to collaborate with government if they too are ready to work with us.

While speaking on the support of the All Progressives Congress, APC to their organization, Nureni said, it is true that the APC is giving them items like food materials among others as palliatives during any festivals as well as motorcycles to enhance their productivity all over the local governments areas of the state.

The Security Guru said, their work is not for the APC, ADC neither PDP or Accord but for all and sundry and to ensure adequate security in all nooks and crannies of the state.

Nureni however called on the people of the state to report any suspicious movement in their area to their office as they have office across all the local governments in the state.
