Stop your self-deception, terrorists don’t repent – Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer to FG

Aloy Ejimakor, the legal consultant to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, says terrorists do not repent.
In a post on his verified X handle on Friday, Ejimakor asked the Federal Government of Nigeria to stop what he described as self-deception.
He was speaking about the alleged planned rehabilitation of ‘repentant’ Boko Haram terrorists.
DAILY POST recalls that more than 700 repentant terrorists who have been deradicalised, rehabilitated, are to be reintegrated into their communities.
According to the African Independent Television, AIT, the Coordinator of Operation Safe Corridor, Brigadier-General Yusuf Ali, disclosed this known during a media tour of facilities at the Deradicalisation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration Centre in Gombe, North-East Nigeria.
Airing his opinion on the development, Ejimakor said, “Stop the self-deception. Terrorists don’t repent and can’t be rehabilitated.
“Terrorism is a radical religious/political doctrine that admits of no repentance or rehabilitation. When caught, terrorists simply fold and pretend, so that they can infiltrate and do more harm from the inside.”
