Actress Ese Eriata advises women against cheating back, says healing is the real revenge

Nollywood actress Ese Eriata has advised women against retaliating after betrayal in relationships, saying cheating back only deepens emotional pain.

According to the actress, many women give their best in marriage and still experience betrayal, but warned that listening to people encouraging revenge through cheating would not bring closure or healing.

Ese said cheating back only recreates the same pain of betrayal while delaying emotional healing and making it harder to recognise red flags in future relationships.

She added that the real payback is self-growth, encouraging women to heal, grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually, and choose partners who genuinely love, respect and value them, stressing: “If it cannot be fixed, let it go. Do not cheat back.”
