ATNG declares support for Tinubu, endorses Hamzat for Lagos 2027

The Asiwaju Tinubu Nucleus Group (ATNG) has declared its unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and endorsed Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, as the preferred APC governorship candidate for Lagos State in 2027.

In a statement, the Director-General of ATNG, Barr. KK Eleshin, said the group aligns with President Tinubu’s leadership and political direction, describing Hamzat as a competent, loyal and experienced administrator capable of sustaining the development agenda of Lagos State.

Eleshin noted that ATNG remains committed to mobilising grassroots support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and ensuring that Lagos continues on the path of stability, continuity and progressive governance.

He added that Hamzat’s endorsement reflects the group’s belief in his capacity to build on the achievements of the current administration and further strengthen the APC’s dominance in Lagos politics.

Barr. Eleshin called on party members, stakeholders and residents of Lagos State to rally behind Hamzat ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
