Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has felicitated with Muslims across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging them to reflect on and embrace the core values of the Islamic festival.

In a goodwill message, the Anambra State governor said the Sallah celebration carries profound significance as it reminds humanity of the virtues of obedience, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the will of God and the collective good of society.

Soludo called on Nigerians to use the festive period to pray for enduring peace, national unity, and accelerated progress across the country.

He also emphasised the importance of charity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual tolerance among citizens irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

According to him, Nigerians should use the opportunity of the celebration to strengthen bonds of love and national harmony through acts of kindness and generosity.

The governor further reiterated his administration’s commitment to the protection of lives and property in Anambra State, assuring residents of adequate security during the festive season and beyond.

He stated that his government would continue to create an enabling environment where all residents can celebrate freely and peacefully.
