One North Movement outshines City Boys in new pro-Tinubu campaign ranking

A new ranking of the pro-Tinubu campaign support groups has placed the One North Movement ahead of the City Boy Movement.
The ranking described the One North Movement as the most impactful group leading the re-election campaign, support and mobilisation of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential poll.
The ranking process which was conducted online across the nation assessed grassroots impact and its effect on the various campaigns for the Tinubu-led government.
Results from the poll showed that the One North Movement secured the top position, ahead of several other prominent groups, including the City Boy Movement, which is associated with Seyi Tinubu, Paschal (Cubana Chief Priest) Okechukwu, Obi (Obi Cubana) Iyiegbu among other top influencers.
According to observers, the result reflects the growing influence of decentralised political advocacy groups, particularly in northern Nigeria, where voter mobilisation remains a decisive factor in the nationâs electoral outcomes.
The observers also stated that such groups have increasingly adopted online engagement, community outreach, and welfare-driven initiatives as tools for political persuasion.
The leader of the One North Movement, Muhammad Ali (Abba G) described the outcome of the online poll as a vote of confidence placed on the group by Nigerians.
Ali said, âOur goal is to ensure that the benefits of President Tinubuâs leadership are felt across every part of Nigeria.
âThis is why we continue to invest our resources and energy in supporting the people and encouraging continuity,â Ali stated.
Also speaking on the results, Alhaji Sani Ahmad Zangina, the deputy leader of the One North Movement said the recognition is both encouraging and motivating.
Zangina said the One North Movement has successfully positioned itself to intensify its nationwide campaign efforts ahead of future political contests, particularly, the re-election of the president.
