Putin's secret missile base ‘revealed' where Russia 'could hit London with nukes in 8mins’

A secretive Russian military deployment in Belarus ‘linked to Vladimir Putin’s feared Oreshnik nuclear-capable missile programme’ has been exposed by opposition investigators. They traced a massive military train from Russia’s main missile-testing centre to a newly built base near the Ukrainian border.

The “unstoppable” weapon has been reportedly deployed in Belarus since December, but its location has not been officially disclosed. From Belarus territory, an Oreshnik launch could hit London in eight minutes, far shorter than the time it would take from its launch site in Kapustin Yar in southern Russia, according to Moscow sources. Belarusian railway monitoring group BELZHD_Live says a large Russian military contingent remains stationed at the former Krichyov-6 airbase in eastern Belarus after arriving from the Kapustin Yar missile range late last year.

The site, officially described as a civilian ‘logistics centre’, lies in Belarus’s Mogilev region, just a few miles from the Russian border and around 240 miles from Kyiv in a straight line.
