VIDEO: Two men beaten for stealing in Delta

A viral video has shown two men being severely beaten by angry men after they were allegedly caught stealing in Asaba, Delta State.

The incident, which was captured in a viral video which started trending on social media on Wednesday, occurred days after armed robbers reportedly attacked several gadget stores in the area.

The video showed the two suspects being assaulted by a crowd as they expressed outrage over rising cases of theft and criminal activities in the area.

The development has continued to generate mixed reactions online, with some social media users condemning the act as jungle justice, while others defended the mob’s actions amid growing insecurity concerns.

Authorities in Delta State are yet to officially comment on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
