âMarriage Is Not Something Iâm Thinking About At Allâ â Singer, Bloody Civilian

Nigerian singer and songwriter Bloody Civilian has revealed that marriage is currently not a priority for her despite repeated questions from family members.
Speaking in a recent interview on NotjustOk, the singer explained that one of the things her family struggles to understand about her career as an artiste is that she does not share some of the traditional expectations often placed on women from Northern Nigeria.
According to Bloody Civilian, while marriage is frequently brought up in conversations with her family, it is not something she is focused on at the moment.
She said , “One thing my family still does not understand about being an artist is the fact that certain conventional things that they expect of a woman from the North are simply not things I’m excited to do.”
The singer added, “For instance, marriage is not something that I am thinking of at all, but that question keeps being brought up.”
