AC Milan appoint Rúben Amorim as new head coach on long-term deal

Italian giants AC Milan have reached an agreement to appoint Portuguese manager Rúben Amorim as their new head coach.
The 41-year-old has agreed to a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2028, with an option to extend the deal by a further year until June 2029.
Amorim, who has built a reputation as one of Europe’s most highly-rated young managers, is expected to take charge as Milan look to strengthen their position both in Serie A and European competitions.
