Media personality Captain Smart has denied reports that he is seriously ill following claims that he fell sick after announcing his intention to contest the Gomoa West parliamentary seat in the 2028 elections.
The Onua TV presenter addressed the rumours in a video shared on social media, assuring the public that he is in good health.
“I have heard rumours that I am very sick, please disregard that. I am very strong and healthy,” he said.
His response follows comments by Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, founder of Parliament Chapel International, who claimed in a video that Captain Smart had suffered an alleged spiritual attack linked to his political ambitions.
Captain Smart also explained his recent absence from his morning programme, Onua Maakye.

He said he travelled to the Central Region to work as master of ceremonies during President John Dramani Mahama’s tour.
The clarification comes days after Captain Smart announced his decision to contest the Gomoa West parliamentary seat in the 2028 general elections.
