Friendly: Chelle outlines strategy for Portugal showdown

Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has promised to ring the changes in his team’s friendly against Portugal.
Nigeria will face La Selecao in a friendly next week Wednesday at the Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, Leiria, Portugal.
Chelle’s side were held to a 2-2 draw by Poland in their international friendly in Warsaw on Wednesday night.
Only captain Wilfred Ndidi, and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye featured for 90 minutes in the game.
The Malian promised to approach the Portugal clash the same way.
“The approach will be similar because, as I mentioned, my players are out of shape. Why do we need these two matches in the middle of the summer holidays…” Chelle was quoted by sportowefakty.wp.pl.
