Golden Eaglets open camp for WAFU B U-17 tourney

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have opened camp for the 2026 WAFU B U-17 Boys Championship, DAILY POST reports.
The regional tournament will serve as the qualifier for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
Nigeria has failed to qualify for the last two editions of the competition.
The Golden Eaglets are training at the Gold Project Pitch in Abuja.
Head coach Eboboritse Uwejamomere has the rigorous task of selecting talented youngsters who will represent Nigeria at the WAFU B tournament, with the main objective of securing a place at the U-17 AFCON.
Uwejamomere is being assisted by Olumide Ajibolade, Mohammed Kachala and Abdullahi Isa.
