I was attacked and bitten all over my face by my husband when I came home after C-section – Woman shares her experience with domestic violence

A woman, Tanecqua Garrett, has opened up about the domestic violence she allegedly suffered at the hands of her husband for many years and how she finally got the courage to walk away.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, June 10, she narrated how her husband allegedly attacked and bit her all over the face after she came home from the hospital where she had given birth via Caesarean section.
“Let me re-introduce myself. I am Tanecqua Garrett. For the past year I been hiding and staying out of public eye the best I could,” she wrote.
“I am a battered woman. I ‘ve been suffering from domestic violence for years.
“I finally got the courage to become brave and choose myself. This photoshoot meant a lot to me because it reminds me of what I been through and what I have overcame.
“I was attacked and bitten all over my face after I came home from my c-section from my husband, an abusive alcoholic. I hate it took so long for me to leave but I’m finally gone and done.”
