If I need money, I’ll call Tinubu to get it -Babachir Lawal

FormerSecretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, has denied receiving money from the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen.
Featuring in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, Lawal said if he needed money, he would call President Bola Tinubu to get it.
He was reacting to allegations by the supporters of former Vice-President Atiku that he took money from Hayatu-Deen.
“If I need money now, I’ll call President Tinubu, and I’ll get it before I get home.
“Hayatu-Deen has no money to give. Tell me who was there when he gave me the money. Maybe he’s yet to deliver it. I will go and collect it.
“Let me tell you, it’s not about money. Hayatu-Deen was a man who was offering his service and competence.
“Hayatu-Deen is more competent than Atiku. They can’t even be in the same boat,” Lawal said.
