Man caught at UCH Ibadan after he allegedly stole a phone and multiple doctors’ ATM cards (video)

A man was allegedly caught with a stolen phone and several ATM cards belonging to doctors at UCH Ibadan.

According to report, patients and doctors have been complaining that their items have been going missing.
A man has now allegedly been caught with a stolen phone and when he was searched, doctors’ ATM cards that were stolen a week earlier were said to have been found on him.
A witness who shared the video on X wrote: ‘This thief was caught at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, just a few minutes ago. I had been waiting in front of the oral surgery clinic when he walked past me and went inside. A few minutes later, shouts of “Ole!” came from within. I got up to see what was happening, and it turned out to be the same man who had just walked by me.

‘The phone he stole was recovered from him on the spot.
‘The doctors began recounting how they had been losing items for some time, ranging from phones and laptops to ATM cards and even motorcycles. When they searched his pockets, they found ATM cards belonging to doctors that had been reported missing over the preceding weeks. It wasn’t his first time.’
