Tension in Ibeju-Lekki as Security Incident Turns Deadly

Fear and unrest broke out in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos after a deadly incident involving a group of Fulani men who were spotted behaving suspiciously in the community.
The men were allegedly found carrying bags containing cash, a dagger, and a round of ammunition, which prompted residents to suspect they were connected to criminal activity, possibly arriving to collect ransom payment.
The situation turned violent, resulting in the death of one person.
