Abia Gov approves payment of veteran actress Ngozi Nwosuâs medical bills

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has approved the payment of the first phase of veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu’s medical bills after she publicly appealed for financial assistance.
The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Justice, announced the intervention on Tuesday, noting that the payment covers only part of the actress’ medical expenses.
Nwosu, 62, had recently revealed that she had been hospitalised for three weeks and needed ₦30 million for three urgent surgeries.
Following the governor’s intervention, Martin Justice thanked Otti for supporting the veteran actress but appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to continue assisting her with the remaining medical expenses.
