Okpebholo celebrates Archbishop Margaret Idahosa at 83, hails decades of spiritual service

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has congratulated Archbishop Margaret Idahosa on the occasion of her 83rd birthday, and described her as a symbol of unwavering faith, selfless service and enduring spiritual leadership whose contributions have transformed lives and strengthened society.

In a goodwill message,to the Matriarch of the Church of God Mission International,
Governor Monday Okpebholo said he joins the Benson Idahosa family, the Christian community, and well-wishers across Nigeria in celebrating the milestone.

The governor praised Archbishop Idahosa’s decades of commitment to the Christian faith, saying her ministry has inspired generations through steadfast leadership, compassion, and dedication to advancing the Gospel.

He said the renowned cleric’s influence extends beyond the pulpit, citing her sustenance of her husband’s vision and contributions to education, humanitarian service, peace-building, and community development.

According to the governor, Archbishop Idahosa’s motherly guidance, wisdom, and support for the vulnerable have continued to inspire hope and positively impact countless lives.

Governor Okpebholo described the Presiding Bishop of the Church of God Mission International as one of Nigeria’s most respected Christian leaders, whose legacy of faith, excellence, and service remains a model for present and future generations.

“As you celebrate this significant milestone, we pray that Almighty God will continue to grant you good health, renewed strength, abundant grace, and many more fruitful years in His service,” the governor said.

He wished Archbishop Idahosa continued peace, joy, and divine favour while congratulating her on behalf of the Edo State Government and its people on attaining the age of 83.
